Northshore Tree Service was founded by Erik Janssen, an ISA Certified Arborist who grew up in Duluth and learned the trade working alongside experienced tree crews on the North Shore. After earning his ISA certification in 2016, Erik started Northshore Tree Service with a simple commitment: provide honest assessments, professional work, and fair pricing.

Unlike crews that show up with a chainsaw and a pick-up truck, we bring ISA-certified expertise, professional equipment (including a 65-foot bucket truck and crane service), and $2 million in liability insurance to every job. We know Duluth's steep terrain, Lake Superior's harsh weather patterns, and the specific tree species and diseases that affect our region.
